11-24-21 THOUGHTS

I will not do a post in the morning.  We are in a time of Thanksgiving in our nation.  Grateful thanksgiving should not be a seasonal thing!  We are blessed continually.  The thanksgiving of the saved ought to rise up ceaselessly and humbly before the world we live in.

2Sam 22:50   "Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the nations, And I will sing praises to Your name.
1Chron 16:34-35    O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.  35  Then say, "Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name, And glory in Your praise."
Ps 119:62   At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to You Because of Your righteous ordinances.
1Cor 11:24   and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
1Cor 15:57   but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Cor 2:14-15    But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.  15  For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people  may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.
Eph 1:15-19    For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16  do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19  and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might
Php 4:6   Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Col 2:6-7    Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7  having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.
Heb 13:15   Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.

My Prayer:
May our voices and our hearts continually come before you O God,  with praise and thanksgiving.  Your everlasting loving kindness is before us always.  May we keep each other in
heart and prayer, that we may each mature as we grow closer to you our God!  Thanks be to you  for the fellowship of the saved.  Help us to be the Church you designed from the beginning.  Give us each a reviving and a zeal to bear fruit. To you, O God,  be glory and honor and love from our thankful hearts.         In the name of Jesus              Amen
